Update on my new business....

Ok, so you all have asked specifics about pricing, flavors, etc. I will try to answer your questions. First of all I want to let you know that when making any of my baked goods I wear disposable gloves, disposable hairnet and an apron.

As far as pricing is concerned....Cake and brownie pops are $1.50 each/$18.00 a dozen (individually wrapped in a box). If you want them in an arrangement they are 6/$10, 12/$20 and 24/$40. Cupcakes are $15/dozen. Prices are subject to change.

As far as flavors......Cupcake flavors are chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, red velvet, devils food(cream-filled) and many more that I'm testing. Frostings are chocolate and vanilla buttercream, cream cheese and others that I'm testing. Cake pops flavors are chocolate brownie, vanilla cake, chocolate cake, red velvet(still trying different recipes as the ones I use is too oily), banana bread cake, strawberry cake and carrot cake(which I'm still trying to tweek as the recipe I have is a little too oily). I am trying several new ones and will let you know if they turn out to be good enough to add to the menu.

If anyone has any questions, concerns, comments, etc. please let me know. I am always open to feedback. Hope this is helpful. Make sure to scroll down at my new pics.

I need a name for my business.......

Ok, so I'm not sure what to call my business. Frosted, P&G Confections, The Cupcake Lady, etc. I'm not very creative when it comes to this stuff. I've had several orders so far. I'm doing cupcakes and cake pops for now. Cupcakes are $12/doz. and pops are $18/doz. As I perfect the decorations I may increase the prices. I'm not packaging for mail delivery. (At least not for now.) I will try any flavors you want. My main cupcake flavors are chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cream-filled devil's food and red velvet. Frosting's are vanilla or chocolate buttercream and cream cheese. I'm sure I'll be adding more flavors as I try new recipes. As far as pop flavors...chocolate, white/vanilla, banana, red velvet, strawberry and brownie pops. I tried carrot cake pops from my favorite cake recipe, but it's very oily, so I need to play around with it a little. The pops are all dipped in chocolate candy coating (vanilla, milk chocolate or dark chocolate.) I'm trying somw new pop recipes soon. Cheesecake pops....YUM. I'll let you know how they are once I try them.

Been a long time.

Well, let's try this again. Time has really gotten away from me. We moved back in July. Payton started pre-school in September. He just finished his last day yesterday. Gabby will be starting this fall along with Payton. They're just growing up way too fast. Payton turned 4 last week. Gabby is 2 1/2 and we are trying to potty train right now (can't remember which attempt this is). Payton was easy. Gabby, on the other hand, not so easy. They say no child is ever alike, I believe it!! She is little miss personality.

I was making girly hair bows during the winter. Trying to stock up to get in craft shows and sell them. I've recently started baking cupcakes and making pops (cake and brownie). I'd love to start my own business. I've already had several people order some from me. I'm getting rave reviews. YEAH!!

I'll try to do better at posting this time around. Take care.
